Compositions

Students will write two (2) compositions during the semester. These compositions offer the opportunity for peer review of a draft and revision. Students may consult their grammar texts and dictionaries during preparation and correction of the essays.

• All drafts and compositions must be printed or typed, with the accents already in place, not added in afterward. Each composition is to be at least 1 page (12 point font, double spaced, 1 inch margins). See the lab monitor for help in using Spanish accents and spell check on the computers.
• Ten points will be deducted from your composition grade if you come to class without the typed or printed draft. Handwritten drafts and compositions will not be accepted.
• Compositions prepared using a computer translator will not be accepted.
