Why French? Here are many reasons why learning French is useful for your profession.
Are you a high school, community college or ISU student considering a French major at ISU?
Do you have questions about your major/minor?
In honor of Dr. Tarrant, former professor, and Dr. George Petrossian, French professor and director of our summer study-abroad program in Grenoble for over thirty years, scholarships will be awarded twice per year to a few ISU French majors or minors who plan to study abroad in a French-speaking country. Applications are accepted each preceding semester—November 15 for spring studies and March 15 for summer/fall studies. Awards will be announced in December and April each year.
