3/3/2010 Dear Students:
Now that Advanced Registration is almost upon us, I want to take this opportunity to remind students in Spanish 116 and Spanish 213 that there is a continuation requirement for the subsequent courses in Spanish.
To register for the on-campus version of Spanish 213, Spanish Grammar, students must have received a grade of a “B or better” in Spanish 116. Students seeking admission to Spanish 215, 223, or 233 must have received a “B or better” in Spanish 213.
Because the continuation requirement was implemented in the fall of 2010, students who took Spanish 116 or 213 before the spring of 2010, and did not earn a B or better in those courses will be permitted to continue and complete their sequences in the on-campus or ISU online courses.
These continuation requirements only apply to courses taught on campus. If a student wishes to enroll in any of the qualifying study abroad programs, he or she may do so to receive equivalent credit to these two courses.
If you have any questions, you may write me (jjpancr@ilstu.edu) directly or contact Ms. Laura Edwards (lcedwar@ilstu.edu).
Sincerely,
Dr. Pancrazio
